Where this comes from.
Stay Ventures is one of several venture lines operated by Akontec Synergy Pvt Ltd, a Chennai firm working in business process operations and project delivery.
Akontec's core work is running operations for clients — support desks, back office, process delivery — from centres in India for businesses abroad. Stay Ventures exists because that capability is the missing piece for a particular kind of owner: someone with capital who wants an operating business in the United States or the United Kingdom and no way to run it day to day from where they live.
Setting a company up abroad is not hard and plenty of firms will do it. What defeats people is month seven, when a guest is locked out at 2am, the cleaner has not confirmed, a review score has slipped and a registration renewal has passed unnoticed. That is operations work, and it is what we already do.
So the offer is deliberately two halves. We set the business up properly, coordinating licensed professionals for everything regulated. Then we run it, from a desk, within an authority schedule you set, taking a share of profit so that our interest and yours point the same way.
We also say no. Not every enquiry becomes a venture, and the first conversation is as much about establishing whether this is a fit as about selling anything. An owner who was never going to succeed at this is not a client we want.
Four principles we will not trade away.
Nothing invented
If we do not know a number we say so and go and find it. Figures are labelled as planning ranges with stated assumptions. We do not present a model as a forecast, and we do not show you somebody's best month as though it were typical.
Consent is never optional
We will not build an arbitrage venture without the landlord's written consent, or operate a property in breach of its lease, building rules or mortgage terms. That is not caution. It is the difference between an asset and a liability.
You own everything
Company, lease or title, furnishings, listings, reviews, platform accounts, documents and operating manual. If you leave us, the business keeps running on its own paperwork.
We say no
If your objective is a visa, if you need guaranteed income, or if the city you want has closed to your model, we tell you on the first call rather than take the engagement fee.

A fourth line, convenience retail, operates at mart.akontec.com. Unlike the others it needs a paid manager physically present in the store every day, and we say so on that site rather than presenting it as passive ownership.
