Who we are

This site is operated by Akontec Synergy Pvt Ltd (CIN U70200WB2026PTC288824), a company registered in India, trading in this context as Akontec Stay Ventures. We are the controller of personal data collected through this website.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, country of residence, and the venture information you choose to provide — target market, preferred model, capital band, intended start date and your message.

Technical information. Our server logs record your IP address, the pages requested, the referring page and your browser user agent. This is standard web server logging.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site. We do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange and conduct a consultation, prepare a proposal if appropriate, and maintain a record of our correspondence with you.

Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping proper records. Where we enter into an engagement, processing is necessary for the performance of that contract.

We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is received by Akontec staff working on venture enquiries. It is stored in our email system and in an internal log file on our server.

If your venture proceeds, we will introduce you to licensed professionals — lawyers, accountants, brokers, registered agents, letting agents — and will share with them only what is necessary for the introduction. We will tell you who before we do it.

We may disclose information where required by law or regulation, or to establish or defend legal claims.

International transfer

Akontec operates from India. If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or elsewhere, your data will be transferred to and processed in India, which may not offer the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction.

Where a venture involves the United States or the United Kingdom, your information may also be shared with professionals in those countries.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed are retained for up to twenty-four months so that we have a record of the conversation, then deleted.

Where an engagement follows, records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by applicable law and professional record-keeping obligations thereafter.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent at any time.

Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. To exercise any of these rights, email support@akontec.com. We will respond within thirty days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the relevant supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. The enquiry form carries anti-spam and rate limiting protection. Access to enquiry records is limited to staff who need it.

No system is completely secure. Please do not send identity documents, financial account details or other sensitive material through the enquiry form. We will tell you the secure route when the time comes to share those.

Cookies

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. A session cookie may be set by the enquiry form purely to protect against automated submissions and to prevent duplicate posting. It carries no personal information and expires when you close your browser.

Changes

We may update this notice. The current version is dated 28 August 2026 and supersedes any earlier version. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be notified to you directly where we hold your contact details.
